Rosie Radcliffe

I’m a UK author who took up writing when auto-immune disease left me in a wheelchair. I try to write compelling mystery/crime stories that blend intrigue, humour, and  real life characters. My debut novel “Frankie & Dot” is out now and “Sitting Tenant” will be published in November 2025.

All my novels are set on the north Lancashire coast where I live, in and around the town of Lytham St Anne’s.

REVIEW by Ellen Mawson - 06 Jan, 2025 “Witty and wicked” Frankie is devastated to be convicted for something she didn't do. After prison she can't return to the London cosmopolitan life she used to have, and ends up in a bedsit in a northern seaside town. There, with the help of Auntie Dot, she rediscovers the value of true friendship and begins to build on some shaky foundations. But the past keeps coming back to haunt her and Dot (who is not all she seems) has got her back when things get dicey. A rattling good read and some awesome characters. Recommended.

I’m Rosie Radcliffe, a crime and mystery author with a sharp sense of humour. Despite living with severe inflammatory arthritis and cognitive impairment, I embrace my creativity and use it as a tool to generate resilience – if I have to sit in my wheelchair what can I do sitting down? Channel my imagination and limited energy into compelling storytelling.
